Track & scale
Will any Hot Wheels car run on any Hot Wheels track?
Standard 1:64 cars will. Oversized Monster Trucks (1:24) and larger R/C models are too big for 1:64 track and launchers.
Can I join pieces from different sets?
Yes. Hot Wheels track uses standard connectors, so Track Creator packs, stunt sets and City playsets link together.
My car keeps falling off the loop. Why?
It needs more speed: raise the gate, lengthen the drop before the loop and check the connectors for raised edges.
Cars & packs
What does “styles may vary” mean?
Multipacks are assortments — count, scale and packaging stay fixed, the exact castings and colors change.
What is the difference between mainline and Premium?
Premium adds a metal chassis, Real Riders rubber tires and detailed deco. Mainline cars are built for play.
Are the Formula 1 cars official?
Yes, Hot Wheels is an official licensee of Formula 1 and the cars wear real team liveries.
Power & age
Do track sets need batteries?
Launcher and gravity sets usually do not; motorized, lights-and-sounds and R/C products do. Each product page lists the exact type.
What age are Hot Wheels for?
Most cars are graded 3+, most track sets 4+ to 6+. The age grade on each product page comes from the packaging.
