This thing is awesome and kids love it. Makes fun sounds and does some fun tricks and has cool light features. You're getting a Hot Wheels level quality remote vehicle here, and it can still break, etc., but it's durable and tons of fun. Can go off-roading through shorter grass with ease, as well as rip around your house or outdoors (but probably not on super rugged outdoor surfaces).

Why 1:64 matters
Almost every car in this catalog is 1:64 scale, which means it fits every Hot Wheels track, every City garage and every launcher. That is the quiet superpower of the brand: a car bought today runs on a track set from years ago. The oversized Monster Trucks (1:24) and larger R/C models (1:15 and 1:16) are the exceptions, and their pages say so up front.

Hot Wheels track connects. Straight pieces, curves and connectors from a Track Creator pack snap into stunt sets, City playsets and raceways, so a single set is really a starting point. Many families add one set per birthday and end up with a layout that crosses the hallway.

Standard 1:64 Hot Wheels cars run on Hot Wheels track. Some wide or tall castings — and all oversized Monster Trucks — are too big for the launchers, so each product page lists what is included and what fits.
What scale are Hot Wheels cars?
Mainline and Premium cars are 1:64. Oversized Monster Trucks are 1:24, and some R/C models are 1:15 or 1:16. Every product page lists the scale in its spec table.
What does “styles may vary” mean on a car pack?
Multipacks are assortments. The number of cars, the scale and the packaging are fixed, but the exact castings and colors change from box to box.
Do Hot Wheels make products for adult collectors?
Yes — our Premium, Car Culture and Formula 1 lines use metal bodies and chassis, Real Riders rubber tires and collector-grade card art. You will find them in the Collector & F1 lane.
