Most remote-control trucks just sit on the shelf until someone flips a switch. Mega-Wrex waits for a challenge. Give the impact sensor a tap and he lights up, drops straight into Hunt Mode and starts growling, and the more he gets tested, the louder that growl climbs. We built him oversized, at 1:15 scale, so the whole living-room floor becomes his territory and every bump sounds like a dare.
Switch to Smasher Mode and the massive tires take over. Fierce sound effects kick in while Mega-Wrex plows through anything parked in his path, and if you prop him up on his back two wheels, he turns into a stunt machine that rears like a real dinosaur. When play winds down, Guard Mode takes over with soft ambient lighting, a quiet signal that he is recharging and ready to jump back into action the second you call.
Power comes from a 6.4V lithium-ion rechargeable battery that is permanently installed in the truck, so there is no battery door to lose. The remote runs on 2 AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included, so grab a pair before the first hunt. Every interaction has its own lights and sounds, which means the story never stalls at the top of the gate: kids 5 and up get a Monster Truck that reacts, roars and keeps the drama going.

This thing is awesome and kids love it
This thing is awesome and kids love it. Makes fun sounds and does some fun tricks and has cool light features. You're getting a Hot Wheels level quality remote vehicle here, and it can still break, etc., but it's durable and tons of fun. Can go off-roading through shorter grass with ease, as well as rip around your house or outdoors (but probably not on super rugged outdoor surfaces).

Super neat and lots of fun!
Bought this for our 7 year old and let me tell you, he has more fun with this thing! The tired light up which he thought was super cool, it makes plenty of sounds that both of our boys love. It rips around the house and both of our boys are laughing, making ramps for it to jump off, other cars to run over. They have a lot of fun playing with it. I do set a timer because my mama eats can only handle so much. Great for outside. The remote control is easy enough for our 3 year old to use it as well.

Seems to be pretty solid. Lights up and makes sounds. Nice that it is recharging, but the remote does take batteries. Goes really fast. Grandson loved it!
